Motorola has announced a new premium Android tablet in India, aiming to cater to users looking for a device that balances productivity, entertainment, and creativity. Called the Moto Pad 70 Pro, the tablet brings flagship-grade hardware, AI-powered software features, and a large high-refresh-rate display, while shipping with the Moto Pen Pro stylus in the box.

The Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch 3.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour depth, Dolby Vision support, and up to 800 nits of brightness. Audio is handled by quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Users can further expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Motorola says the tablet delivers an AnTuTu score of over 2.5 million and supports up to 120fps gaming. It runs Android 16 out of the box and is confirmed to receive Android 17 and Android 18 updates, along with security updates until 2030.
It also includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls and photography. A 10,200mAh battery keeps the device running, with support for 45W fast charging, while a 68W charger is included in the box.

The Moto Pen Pro ships alongside the tablet and works with AI-powered features such as Smart Capture, Sketch to Image, AI Super Res, AI Live Transcript, AI Notes, and Smarter Reader. Other highlights include Smart Connect, Desk Mode, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, a full-metal body measuring 6.2mm thin, and a weight of 589g. The optional snap-on keyboard adds a touchpad, dedicated Smart Key, and PC-style workflow support.
Moto Pad 70 Pro price and availability
The Moto Pad 70 Pro comes in a Pantone Titan color option with 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. The models are priced at Rs 36,999 (~$390) and Rs 39,999 (~$420), respectively. Buyers can also purchase the 8GB+256GB variant bundled with the snap-on keyboard for Rs 45,999 (~$485).
As part of the launch offer, ICICI Bank card users can avail an instant discount of Rs 4,000, bringing the effective prices down to Rs 32,999 (~$350), Rs 35,999 (~$380), and Rs 41,999 (~$445), respectively.
The keyboard is also available for Rs 5,999 when purchased as a bundle with the 256GB variant. Sales begin on July 4 through Flipkart, Motorola India, and leading retail stores across the country.
