iQOO quietly unveiled the iQOO Pad 5c today in China, introducing a new premium Android tablet that sits alongside the Pad 5 series. The tablet brings a flagship-grade Snapdragon chipset, a high refresh rate display, AI-powered productivity features, and a large battery, making it suitable for entertainment, gaming, and everyday work.

The iQOO Pad 5c is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage on the 128GB variant, while the 256GB models get faster UFS 4.1 storage. It features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet measures 6.62mm thick and weighs 584g, making it relatively slim for its size.

The tablet packs a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging. It includes a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup, while connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.

The Pad 5c runs OriginOS 6 for tablets and supports face unlock, AI-powered productivity tools, PC-grade WPS, AI PPT Assistant, multi-screen collaboration, wireless printing, document scanning and gaming features such as game super resolution, live streaming assistant. It also comes with an advanced cooling system featuring a large graphite heat dissipation area.

The specifications may look familiar because the iQOO Pad 5c is essentially a rebranded version of the iQOO Pad 5e, which debuted as the vivo Pad 5e last year.

iQOO Pad 5c price and availability

The iQOO Pad 5c is available in 8GB+128GB for 2,699 Yuan (~$400), 8GB+256GB for 2,999 Yuan (~$440) and 12GB+256GB for 3,499 Yuan (~$515). Buyers can choose between Silver Wing and Grey Crystal colour options. The tablet is scheduled to go on sale in China in this month. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding its global availability.
