Samsung has begun building anticipation for its next Galaxy Unpacked event with a series of cryptic teaser videos across its social media channels. While the company has not officially revealed any new products, the campaign offers several clues about what could be coming, with much of the focus appearing to be on the next generation of Galaxy foldables.
Samsung hints at a wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 design

The teaser campaign includes multiple short videos featuring everyday objects such as pizza slices, chocolate bars, paint, puzzles, and photo strips being reshaped into wider rectangular forms. Throughout the videos, Samsung repeatedly uses phrases like “A New Shape,” “A Whole New Slice,” and “Bold Stroke, New Shape,” strongly suggesting that the company is preparing to introduce a foldable with a redesigned aspect ratio. One teaser also reveals the number “8,” further indicating that the campaign is centered on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.
The wider form factor aligns with recent rumors claiming that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will feature a broader and shorter cover display compared to previous models.
Such a design could make the outer screen more comfortable for everyday tasks like typing, browsing, and media consumption. Some teaser videos also prominently feature pastel shades, which may hint at one or more color options for the upcoming foldables, although Samsung has not confirmed any details.
Samsung is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at Galaxy Unpacked later this month, with multiple reports pointing to a July 22 announcement. The company has yet to disclose official specifications or features, but the teaser campaign makes it clear that design will play a major role in this year’s foldable lineup. More details, including the official names, hardware specifications, pricing, and availability, are expected to be announced during the launch event.
