Nothing has expanded its mid-range lineup with the Phone (4a) (launched March 2026) and the newer Phone (4b). Both deliver the brand’s signature transparent design and Glyph interface but target slightly different users. The 4a is the more premium mid-ranger, while the 4b focuses on value with a bigger battery. Here’s a head-to-head breakdown.

1Verdict: Which One Should You Buy?

Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) if you want the best overall experience. It wins in display quality, performance, camera versatility (especially the telephoto lens), and charging speed. It feels like the more complete and future-proof phone for photography enthusiasts, gamers, or anyone who values a sharp, bright screen.

Choose the Nothing Phone (4b) if you prioritize battery life and value for money. At a lower effective price (especially with offers), it delivers the signature Nothing design, solid daily performance, and class-leading endurance. It’s ideal for users who mainly scroll, watch videos, and want maximum screen-on time without frequent charging.

If you are getting the Nothing Phone (4a) at its launch price of Rs 31,999, then it is the better choice. At those prices, the superior display, camera system, and performance easily justify paying a bit more than the 4b. However, at the current or rumored post-4b prices, the Nothing Phone (4b) offers stronger value, especially if battery life is your priority.
