Rollme has released the AirCam, a new wearable device that merges open-ear headphones with an 8-megapixel camera and AI voice features. It offers a different form factor for hands-free recording, opting for a wraparound headset design rather than the smart-glasses format we have seen from other tech companies.

The AirCam is equipped with an 8MP Sony side-mounted camera capable of shooting 1080p video at 30 frames per second. To make the device viable for outdoor activities like cycling, hiking, or running, where chest mounts or handhelds are often cumbersome, Rollme has included electronic image stabilization (EIS) to help smooth out the footage.
Device control relies on a straightforward touch interface on the headset: a single tap captures a photo, a double tap toggles video recording, and a triple tap initiates an audio recording. Media is saved directly to 8GB of onboard storage and can be offloaded using dual-band Wi-Fi 6. The continuous video recording is capped at 10 minutes per clip.
For audio, the AirCam relies on an open-ear design with 16mm dynamic drivers. Because the speakers sit outside the ear canal, ambient noise passes through. This is a standard setup for fitness wearables, allowing you to hear traffic and pedestrians while listening to audio. It also includes dual microphones with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to filter out background sound during phone calls.
Rollme is also integrating AI software features into the device. The headset connects to large language models to process voice queries and offer real-time translation for conversations. According to the company, the camera can also be used for visual recognition, letting users identify text, objects, or landmarks in their line of sight and receive contextual information.
The headset is powered by a 220mAh battery. Rollme claims this capacity provides up to 10 hours of music playback or talk time, and 120 hours on standby.

The Rollme AirCam is now available through Rollme’s official online store for $79.99. It comes in three color options: Classic Black, Vibrant Orange, and Pearl White.
