iQOO 16, iQOO Neo 12, and iQOO Z12 Turbo are expected to feature significantly larger batteries, as per a new leak by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. To recall, he recently shared the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO 16, including its battery size. Now, in a new leak, the same source has revealed the battery capacities of two other iQOO flagship offerings, suggesting that the brand is preparing a major leap in battery capacity across its flagship and performance-focused lineup.

iQOO 16, Neo 12, and Z12 Turbo battery details tipped

According to the tipster, the iQOO 16, which is expected to be powered by the forthcoming 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, is currently being tested with an 8,500mAh battery. The engineering prototype is also said to support 100W fast charging along with wireless charging.

The leak further claims that iQOO’s next-generation 3nm performance lineup, believed to include the iQOO Neo 12 and iQOO Z12 Turbo, is testing even larger batteries. One prototype reportedly packs a 9,000mAh battery, while another is equipped with a high-silicon single-cell 10,000mAh battery.

As per previous reports, the iQOO Neo 12 will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a dedicated graphics chip for enhanced gaming. The device is also expected to support 100W charging. Other rumored features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and top-tier water resistance.

At present, there is no concrete information about the iQOO Z12 Turbo’s specifications. Considering that its predecessor featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, it is likely that the Z12 Turbo may come equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 6, which is believed to be a 3nm chip.
