The Honor Robot Phone can now be reserved through Honor’s official online stores in China, while offline reservations started earlier this week. Customers who reserve the device will receive several benefits, including a lifetime YOYO AI SVIP membership, a one-year gimbal replacement service, a complete set of standard accessories, up to 24 months of interest-free installments, and trade-in subsidies of up to 2,000 Yuan (~$300). Offline buyers are also required to pay a 1,000 Yuan (~$150) deposit to secure priority purchase benefits.

Honor Robot Phone specifications (rumored)

The Robot Phone was first showcased at MWC 2026 as the first commercial product under Honor’s Alpha strategy. Unlike conventional smartphones, it introduces a four-degree-of-freedom titanium alloy robotic gimbal integrated into the top of the phone. The module stays hidden inside the chassis during normal use and extends in just 0.8 seconds when the camera is activated. It supports 360-degree tracking, intelligent camera movement, and CIPA 5.5-level mechanical image stabilization.

The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel 4D gimbal primary sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Honor has also partnered with ARRI to bring Log-C recording and professional LUT colour profiles to the device.

The handset is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch 1.5K four-sided narrow-bezel flat display and support for 120W fast charging. It also runs Honor’s on-device YOYO AI model with emotion recognition and proactive task execution, while the movable camera module doubles as a physical expression system during AI interactions.
