Xiaomi has started rolling out a major update for its gaming experience on HyperOS by replacing the existing Game Turbo feature with the new Game Space. The upgrade brings a dedicated hub that offers game management, personalized performance settings, and customization tools for supported Xiaomi smartphones.
Game Space brings a dedicated gaming hub
The new Game Space is now integrated into the latest HyperOS builds and is gradually reaching eligible devices. One of its biggest additions is automatic game organization. Once enabled, newly installed games are placed inside Game Space without any manual setup. Frequently played titles are also prioritized, making it easier to access favorite games while keeping the home screen less cluttered.
The update also introduces game-specific performance profiles instead of relying on a single gaming mode for every title. Multiplayer online battle arena games can be configured with high-performance settings alongside Do Not Disturb mode to reduce interruptions during matches. Open-world games can be assigned profiles that prioritize graphics quality while balancing thermal management. Once configured, these settings are saved and automatically applied whenever the selected game is launched.
Xiaomi has added new personalization options to make Game Space feel more like a dedicated gaming center. Users can customize wallpapers, startup animations, and widgets while setting their favorite game characters as backgrounds. These additions focus on creating a more immersive gaming environment rather than improving raw performance.
The rollout is currently limited to devices running the latest version of HyperOS, with Xiaomi confirming that availability will expand gradually. Users who have not yet received the feature will need to wait until the update reaches their compatible smartphone.
