Nothing’s budget-friendly CMF brand has jumped into a growing audio category with a pair of earbuds that put comfort and awareness ahead of isolation. The newly launched CMF Clip Pro aims to bring open-ear listening to a more accessible price, and it even throws in a distinctive control feature on the charging case.

Each earbud weighs just 5.9 grams and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The design revolves around a flexible C-bridge with a built-in titanium wire core that you can bend to match different ear shapes.

Audio comes from a 10.8mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver with a TPU diaphragm. Nothing markets it as having a driver “bigger than most clip-on drivers.” Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-device support, LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs for better streaming quality when available. Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, stretching to 32.5 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute top-up can also give you a few more hours of listening.

The charging case features CMF’s signature smart knob (also called the Smart Dial). You can use it to adjust volume, control playback, answer calls, or start pairing without unlocking your phone. Each earbud also has its own physical button, which is handy during workouts or when you’re wearing gloves. Other practical touches include Google Quick Pair and Microsoft Quick Pair support.

As open-ear clip-style earbuds, the Clip Pro lets outside sound through while directing audio toward the ear canal. CMF has added technology to help make up for the usual bass drop-off that comes with this form factor. They’re available in colors like light gray, dark gray, and coral, and they’re aimed at people who want to stay aware of their surroundings, whether they’re commuting, exercising, or just prefer not to be fully sealed off.

Pricing and availability:

The CMF Clip Pro will be available in the UK, US, and Japan from 15 August in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Coral for £79 / $99 via Nothing’s website and select retail partners. In Europe and other markets, it will go on sale from 15 September. Unfortunately, it won’t be available in India.
