TCL’s upcoming phones, the P80 and P80 Pro, have surfaced in the rumor mill before launch. The standout detail here isn’t the chipset or the cameras — it’s how thin the screen bezels are. You’re looking at borders so slim they’d look at home on a phone costing two or three times as much.
TCL P80 and P80 Pro Specifications
Start with the P80 Pro, it packs a 6.83-inch OLED NXTPAPER display running at 2766 x 1280 resolution, and TCL is pairing it with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
On the back, you get a 50MP main camera with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies. The phone is powered by a 5,800mAh battery, which should be enough for more than a day of regular use.
The standard P80 trims a few things to hit a lower price. It swaps in a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Elite, drops storage to 128GB, and settles for a smaller 5,000mAh battery. Everything else — the display, the camera setup, the RAM — carries over from the Pro. That’s a smart way to differentiate the two without making the cheaper model feel gutted.
The renders show the P80 Pro in a muted gray-blue shade with a distinctive pill-shaped dual-camera module, while the standard P80 comes in a warmer cream tone.
Both designs echo the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro that TCL showed off at CES 2026, though these new phones ditch that model’s matte finish for a glossier look and noticeably tighter bezels.
As for pricing, the TCL P80 is said to cost around €300 and the P80 Pro at roughly €350,
