The premium Android tablet market has become more competitive, with brands now focusing on flagship performance, productivity features, and ecosystem integration. The OnePlus Pad 4 is the company’s most ambitious tablet yet, bringing top-tier hardware, a large high-refresh-rate display, powerful speakers, and software features designed to make it more than just a content consumption device.
Originally priced at Rs. 59,999, the OnePlus Pad 4 becomes an even more attractive proposition during the Independence Day Sale 2026, where the tablet is now available for Rs. 56,499. After spending time with the Dune Glow variant and the Stylo Pro, I put it through daily use to find out whether this premium Android tablet is worth buying at this price and if it can truly serve as a laptop replacement.
2The display is built for work and entertainment
The highlight of the OnePlus Pad 4 is undoubtedly its display. It features a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD panel with a 3392 × 2400 resolution, 7:5 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 540Hz touch sampling rate.
The 7:5 aspect ratio continues to be one of the smartest decisions OnePlus has made. Compared to traditional widescreen tablets, this format provides more vertical space, making reading documents, browsing websites, and multitasking much more comfortable.
Colours look vibrant, text appears extremely sharp, and the high refresh rate makes everything feel incredibly smooth. Scrolling through websites, navigating OxygenOS, and switching between applications feels noticeably fluid.
The display also supports Dolby Vision, 12-bit colour depth (8-bit hardware + 4-bit FRC), 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage, and DeltaE accuracy of around 0.7.
However, this is still an LCD panel. While it delivers excellent brightness and colour reproduction, it cannot match the deep blacks and contrast levels of OLED displays.
For most users, though, the OnePlus Pad 4 offers one of the best tablet displays available right now.
