The OnePlus Pad 4 is the company’s most ambitious tablet yet, bringing top-tier hardware, a large high-refresh-rate display, powerful speakers, and software features designed to make it more than just a content consumption device.
Originally priced at Rs. 59,999, the OnePlus Pad 4 becomes an even more attractive proposition during the Independence Day Sale 2026, where the tablet is now available for Rs. 56,499. After spending time with the Dune Glow variant and the Stylo Pro, I put it through daily use to find out whether this premium Android tablet is worth buying at this price and if it can truly serve as a laptop replacement.
5OxygenOS 16 and Stylo Pro make the Pad 4 a productivity machine
The biggest improvement with the OnePlus Pad 4 is not just the hardware but how well the software and accessories work together. OxygenOS 16 brings a more refined tablet experience with improved multitasking, better file management, and features that make the large display more useful.
The tablet now supports up to five windows, allowing users to resize and arrange apps based on their workflow. The improved file manager with multi-column views, previews, drag-and-drop support, and OTG compatibility makes handling documents feel closer to using a laptop.
OnePlus has also expanded its AI features, including AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, AI Painter, AI Clear Call, and AI Recorder. These tools are aimed at improving productivity rather than simply adding AI features for the sake of it.
The OnePlus Stylo Pro further enhances the experience. With 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, improved balance, gesture support, and interchangeable Writing and Drawing Tips, it feels more natural for handwritten notes, annotations, and creative tasks.
During my usage, the Writing Tip provided better resistance and a more paper-like feel, while the Drawing Tip offered a smoother experience for sketching. The magnetic attachment and Find My Stylo feature also make it more convenient for everyday use.
