Nothing recently confirmed it plans to double its smartphone lineup in 2027, and if you needed more proof that this is already in motion, two new phones have just turned up on the IMEI database.
PassionateGeekz spotted the listings first, and they carry the model numbers A006 and A010. There’s no word yet on what these phones will actually be called or what they’ll pack inside, but the report says the two phones might launch in early 2027.
Nothing launched three phones in 2026 — the Phone 4a, the 4a Pro, and the Phone 4b. Nearly doubling that number in 2027 could mean you see at least six new phones from the brand next year, spread across different price ranges.
Nothing hasn’t been shy about growing fast. Carl Pei started the company in 2020 with a single pair of earbuds, and in just a few years it’s gone from a scrappy London startup to a brand that ships phones, buds, watches, and now runs its own stores. Doubling the smartphone lineup in a single year is a big jump even by Nothing’s standards, and it says a lot about how confident the company feels right now.
There’s a real reason for that confidence. Nothing has leaned hard into India, and it’s paying off. The brand has climbed into the list of fastest-growing smartphone players in the country, going up against much bigger, more established names. Six or more phones in one year isn’t just about volume, either. It’s Nothing trying to cover more price brackets at once.
Regulatory filings happen months before any teaser or press event, so seeing two unnamed model numbers this early lines up with a 2027 launch window and backs up Nothing’s own comments about the year ahead.
