Casio has expanded its Vintage lineup in the US with two new models, the ABL100WE-2A and ABL100WE-7A. Both models are priced at $94.95 and retain the familiar retro digital design that has defined Casio watches for decades.

Design Details

The exterior design is simple and traditional. The watches feature a square, chrome-plated resin case that measures 41.6 x 37.9 x 8.2 mm. They come with a stainless steel band and an adjustable clasp. The display is a standard digital LCD protected by resin glass. The total weight of the watch is 60 grams.

The watches feature an accelerometer for tracking movement and can display up to 999,999 steps, with daily goals ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 steps. They also show a seven-hour activity graph and offer step reminders with a display alert and beep when activity is low.

For connectivity, the watches use Bluetooth to sync step data with the Casio Watches app, automatically adjust the time, and access world time for around 300 cities. The app also lets you manage watch settings and includes a phone finder feature.

Casio ABL100WE watches

These operate on a standard CR2016 coin cell battery, which has an estimated life of two years. Talking about other specs, it includes basic water resistance, a 1/100-second stopwatch that can store up to 200 records, a 60-minute countdown timer, five daily alarms, dual time swapping, an hourly time signal, and an amber LED backlight.
