Redmi is launching a brand-new smartphone series with the Redmi M100. The phone debuted in China without fanfare and is already on sale locally.

The M100 is built around a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 1600 × 720 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also says the display includes eye-protection features and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Meanwhile, the phone’s durability features include dust and splash resistance, and it is also rated for up to 500,000 fingerprint touches.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 mobile platform. The 4nm chip has an octa-core CPU and is also available in other Xiaomi phones like Redmi 17 5G
