This week, Xiaomi has updated the list of devices that have stopped receiving software maintenance support, and it includes some new models, including the popular Xiaomi 12S Pro and Redmi Note 12R.
Xiaomi devices added to the end-of-life (EOL) list do not receive any software updates, including HyperOS updates and monthly security patches. However, if a severe security vulnerability is found, Xiaomi may release necessary security fixes even if the device is outside its software support window.
Here’s a list of new Xiaomi devices that have been added to the EOL list (via IT Home):
- Xiaomi 12S Pro
- Xiaomi 12 Lite
- REDMI Pad SE
- REDMI Note 12R
