The iQOO Z11 is available in three distinct variants across different markets, with each version taking a different approach to hardware. The China model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500, while the Malaysia variant uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
The Indian version takes a different route altogether. Along with a different chipset from both international variants, it also gets a distinct design, making it visually different from the Z11 models sold in China and Malaysia.
This review focuses specifically on the Indian variant of the iQOO Z11, which combines its own design language with a large battery, curved AMOLED display, and a new MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. After spending time with the Aurora Green model, here’s how it performs in everyday use.
3Smooth for Everyday Use
The iQOO Z11 is the first smartphone in India to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo. It is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For everyday use, the chipset is more than capable. Apps open quickly, multitasking is generally smooth, and switching between social media, browsers, streaming services, and messaging apps does not pose much of a challenge.
Gaming is where the limitations become more obvious. BGMI can run at up to 60fps with the available settings, while Call of Duty: Mobile also delivers a smooth experience at supported settings. However, the phone is not designed to compete with significantly more powerful gaming-focused devices.
More demanding games such as Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves can expose the limitations of the Dimensity 7500 Turbo, particularly at higher graphical settings. The good news is that iQOO has added a 3,800mm² vapor chamber, and the phone generally manages heat reasonably well during sustained workloads.
In other words, the Z11 is a capable gaming phone for casual and moderate use, but buyers looking for maximum graphics performance should look elsewhere.
