The Oppo A7 Pro is set to join the company’s A series in China soon, with its sale date now confirmed. The smartphone is positioned around durability and long battery life, while its design also sets it apart from several recent A series models. Oppo has now revealed when buyers can get their hands on the new device, along with a few key details.

As per the TENAA listing of the phone, Oppo A7 Pro, which bears the model number PYE110, will feature a 6.57-inch 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for 1.07 billion colors. The device is expected to weigh around 204 grams and measure 8.8mm in thickness.
Powering the smartphone is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, although another leaked listing points to a 2.4GHz octa-core processor and Dimensity 6300 series chip. The phone will have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Storage expansion could reach up to 2TB through a memory card, while an infrared blaster is also expected.
The Oppo A7 Pro will house an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W wired charging. The phone is expected to have a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Its rear design features a horizontally arranged camera module with an LED flash, giving it a noticeably different appearance.
Oppo A7 Pro price and availability
Oppo has confirmed that the A7 Pro will officially go on sale in China on September 11 at 10:00am. It is likely to be priced under 2,000 Yuan (~$300) as the more powerful Oppo A7 Pro Max with 10,000mAh battery starts at 2,199 Yuan (~$330).
