Casio has added a new analog watch to its United States lineup. The MTP-M305LC-7AV is now available for $135 directly through the company’s website. It joins the previously available black-dial variant, the MTP-M305LC-1AV.

Instead of the digital displays or smart connectivity often found in modern wristwear, this release relies entirely on standard quartz timekeeping and traditional analog complications.

Design Details

The hardware consists of a rectangular stainless steel case with rounded edges. The case dimensions are 44.5 x 34 millimeters, with a thickness of 9.4 millimeters. The watch weighs 55 grams in total. It is paired with a standard black leather strap, which is designed to fit wrist circumferences ranging from 175 to 215 millimeters. The watch face is protected by a standard mineral glass crystal.

On the dial, the MTP-M305LC-7AV features a silver-tone background with standard hour markers. The primary functional addition to the watch is a moon-phase indicator located at the 6 o’clock position, which visually tracks the current stage of the lunar cycle.

Alongside the moon-phase display, the dial includes two inset subdials that indicate the current day of the week and the date. Timekeeping is handled by a standard three-hand analog setup for the hours, minutes, and seconds.

Regarding durability, the watch has a water resistance rating of 50 meters, or 5 bar. This rating means the watch can withstand exposure to rain and splashes from hand washing, but it is not designed for swimming, diving, or prolonged submersion in water.

Internally, the watch is driven by a quartz movement with a stated accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. It is powered by an SR621SW button-cell battery. The battery will provide approximately three years of continuous operation before requiring a replacement.

In related news, Casio has recently launched new F-91WF watches in the US with recycled cloth bands alongside a sleek, limited-edition retro watch with a matcha green theme.
