Honor’s year-end lineup leaks, at least four new devices are on the way

Honor has just finished rolling out the new Magic 9 series phones, but a new leak claims it has several new phones lined up for the end of the year. The list includes the Honor 700 Pro series, a new X model in the mid-range line, and two wide-format phones that are still in development. 

Start with the Honor 700 Pro series. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, it will have a native rear screen built into the back panel, a 200MP main camera, and Xiao Zhan as its endorser. To add to the context, an earlier leak tips a 1.72-inch rear display on the Honor 700 Pro, paired with a 6.57-inch 1.5K front screen. 

The Honor 600 series, meanwhile, has a magnetic mini display that attaches to the back, so the Honor 700 Pro would move that idea into the phone itself. Honor’s release pattern suggests a China launch around November or December, which matches the timing DCS gives.

The mid-range line gets a new X model as well. DCS says the phone will have a 7-inch screen and a very large battery. He didn’t name a capacity, but Honor has already started trial production of a cell that typically measures around 12,000mAh. Honor hasn’t said which phone will use it, so treat any link to the X model as a guess for now.

Honor is preparing two wide smartphones

More interesting are two wide-format devices. The first is a wide foldable, which has come up in leaks several times. According to a previous report, Honor is testing it with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, a 7,000mAh battery and a 200MP main camera.

The second is a wide, straight phone, meaning a regular non-folding body, that supports roll-up. DCS didn’t explain how the roll-up part would work or what it would mean for the display. Until more details surface, you shouldn’t read much into it.

None of this is official yet. Honor hasn’t confirmed any of these phones, and the specs and timing come from tipsters. The Honor 700 Pro series is the nearest of the group, so it’s likely to be the first to show up with official details.
