Xiaomi unveiled its Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max flagship smartphones in China last month. Soon after their debut, the company confirmed plans to bring the series to global markets. Now, benchmark listings suggest that international testing could already be underway, potentially pointing to an earlier overseas launch.

Xiaomi 18 Pro series Geekbench listing

The global Xiaomi 18 Pro, carrying the model number 2609BPN61G, has appeared on Geekbench AI alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, identified by model number 2611FPNFAG. Both listings reveal Android 17 and approximately 12GB of memory, indicating that the devices are being evaluated with Google’s upcoming Android version. The listings also identify Qualcomm’s ARMv8 platform, although they do not independently confirm the commercial chipset names.

According to the reported hardware configurations, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the Pro Max could arrive with the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Both chips reportedly share the same CPU configuration, comprising three cores clocked at 3.74GHz, three at 4.03GHz, and two at 5.01GHz. The key difference is expected to lie in graphics performance, with the Extreme variant featuring an Adreno 850 GPU compared with the Adreno 845 in the standard version.

The Geekbench AI results offer an early look at their AI processing capabilities. The Xiaomi 18 Pro recorded scores of 2,565 in single precision, 3,236 in half precision, and 4,667 in quantized testing. Meanwhile, the Pro Max achieved 2,256, 3,556, and 5,092 in the respective tests. These results reflect AI benchmark performance rather than conventional CPU or GPU performance.

The potential international debut would mark a notable change from the Xiaomi 17 series. Although the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max launched in China in September 2025, only the standard model reached global markets in early 2026, leaving the Pro models exclusive to China. An earlier international launch could help Xiaomi compete more directly with upcoming flagships from Vivo and Oppo. However, Xiaomi has yet to announce a global release date or confirm the final hardware specifications.
