Xgimi has announced its latest lineup of home projectors, the Horizon 30 series. The new range includes three models: the Pro, Max, and Ultra Max, all of which feature an RGB Triple Laser light source, a native 4K 120Hz refresh rate, and a dual-iris system designed to improve black levels and contrast.

Xgimi Horizon 30 Series Specifications
The primary differences between the three tiers come down to light output and native contrast. The base model, the Horizon 30 Pro, outputs 4,800 ISO lumens with an 8,000:1 native contrast ratio. The mid-tier Horizon 30 Max increases the brightness to 5,300 ISO lumens and 9,000:1 contrast.
The highest-end model, the Horizon 30 Ultra Max, reaches 6,000 ISO lumens and a 10,000:1 native contrast ratio. According to Xgimi, this hardware provides a noticeable bump in contrast compared to the previous Horizon 20 series, making the projectors more capable of handling ambient light in standard living rooms.

All these models come with a 4K 120Hz refresh rate. This allows for smoother motion processing during sports and enables the projector to display standard 24fps film content evenly. For gaming, the Horizon 30 series includes Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and AMD FreeSync support. Input lag is rated at 1.9ms for 4K at 120Hz, and drops to 1ms if you switch to 1080p at 240Hz.
In terms of hardware, Xgimi has equipped the projectors with optical zoom (1.2 to 1.5:1 throw ratio) and both horizontal and vertical lens shift. These allow you to adjust the image size and position without relying on digital keystone correction. The projectors also feature a Lens Memory function that lets users save up to five custom aspect ratio and zoom settings.
For software and audio, the projectors run Google TV natively and include dual 12W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio support.
