The iQOO Neo 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset alongside iQOO’s dedicated Q3 gaming chip and an updated Monster Super Core Engine. An active cooling fan forms part of its Ice Dome cooling system, helping manage temperatures during demanding gaming sessions.
The phone will debut a 2K display with a 185Hz refresh rate, using pTSF light-emitting technology. Its panel is rated for up to 2,200 nits of full-screen peak brightness and incorporates XDR dynamic range enhancement, circular polarisation display technology and a 1-nit sleep screen. The device also uses the same touch chip as the iQOO 16, with instant touch sampling rates of up to 5,000Hz and multi-touch sampling rates of up to 500Hz.
A 9,000mAh Blue Ocean battery will power the device, using a single-cell design and fifth-generation silicon-anode technology. Its energy density is rated at 916Wh/L, and it supports 100W wired charging.
For gaming, iQOO claims the phone can run supported titles at 2K resolution and 185 frames per second with simultaneous super-resolution and frame interpolation. It is also expected to support more than 50 native 185fps games, alongside full-scene ray tracing and Q-Flex controls.
