Vivo has officially listed the Y32 5G, bringing 5G support to one of its toughest budget phones. The handset pairs a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip with an 8,000mAh battery and IP68 and IP69 ratings. It is a different device from the 4G Vivo Y32 that went official last month with a Unisoc chip.

The Vivo Y32 5G features a 6.87-inch LCD with a 1592 x 720-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits of outdoor brightness, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. It runs on the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD slot supports cards up to 2TB, and up to 6GB of virtual RAM is available.

The 8,000mAh battery supports 44W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging, and Vivo promises over 80% battery health after 1,500 charge cycles. That puts the phone in the same long-endurance camp as the recently launched Vivo Y600, which packs a 10,000mAh cell.

Other highlights include OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.
