After nearly seven years of silence in the Indian market, the Vivo S2 is on its way. According to leaker Yogesh Brar, the phone (model number V2576) is expected to launch in early August 2026, with sales likely kicking off around August 15. It has already popped up in the Bluetooth SIG database, which is usually a strong sign that the official announcement is just around the corner.

The S2 is reportedly aiming for the premium mid-range segment. That puts it in direct competition with phones like the Oppo Reno 16 Pro. If the rumors hold up, it should be a solid pick for anyone who wants a stylish handset with good cameras.

For those who remember, the original Vivo S1 launched back in 2019 with a beautiful 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display, and a MediaTek Helio P65 processor. The phone paired a 16MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide camera and, somewhat surprisingly for its time, a 32MP front-facing camera. Its 4,500mAh battery supported 18W wired charging.

This handset was positioned as a stylish, youth-centric premium mid-range smartphone at the time, with the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at Rs. 17,990 at launch. The new S2 is expected to take that formula to the next level with much better hardware and improved image processing. There’s also a good chance the S2 will share some DNA with Vivo’s global V-series models.

The premium mid-range price bracket has shifted noticeably over the years. Factor in the recent memory chip shortage, and the tipster expects the handset to debut in India at under Rs. 50,000.

As we get closer to the August launch window, we should start seeing more concrete specs on the processor, display, software, and pricing. It remains to be seen if the S2 manages to stand out in the India’s crowded mid-range market.

Dareu launches new lightweight gaming mouse featuring custom PixArt sensor & 8K wireless polling

Dareu has released a new competitive gaming mouse in China, the AE6 V2 Legend Edition. It is priced at 329 yuan ($48) and targets competitive gamers with a focus on flagship-grade hardware and performance.

The mouse features the new AIM-3955 PRO optical sensor, developed in collaboration with PixArt. It supports up to 50,000 DPI sensitivity, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 60G acceleration.

Inside, the mouse is powered by a Nordic 54L15 controller. Built on a 22nm process, the chip allows the AE6 V2 to support an 8,000Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes.

To help manage the battery drain associated with this, Dareu included firmware that automatically adjusts power consumption depending on whether the mouse is being used for gaming or basic desktop tasks.

Physically, the AE6 V2 Legend Edition weighs 59 grams. Instead of using a perforated outer shell to cut weight, Dareu used an internal skeletal frame to maintain the structural rigidity of the solid plastic shell. The exterior is finished with a matte UV coating to resist sweat and improve grip.

For the primary buttons, the mouse uses Omron mechanical switches rated for 100 million clicks. Dareu also implemented its KBS Light button design, which is intended to reduce pre-travel and make the click feel consistent regardless of where you press the button.

The bottom of the mouse features 100% PTFE feet, and the company includes pre-cut grip tape in the box. According to Dareu, the shape of the mouse is the result of over 200 mold revisions over three years, designed to work with palm, claw, and fingertip grip styles.

Battery life is dependent on how you use the mouse. The built-in 500mAh battery is rated to last over 330 hours in wireless mode if you keep the polling rate at the standard 1,000Hz. If you switch to the maximum 8,000Hz polling rate, the battery life drops significantly to around 40 to 50 hours. The mouse includes standard LED indicators to check the current battery level and connection status.

SanDisk has released a new line of USB-C flash drives called the CZB Series. The drives are available globally and in China, offering a straightforward storage option for people who need to move files between modern laptops, phones, and tablets that no longer have traditional USB-A ports.

As for performance, the CZB Series runs on the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard, which supports up to 5Gbps of bandwidth. SanDisk advertises sequential read speeds of up to 250MB/s. That is standard for a modern flash drive, it won’t match the speed of an external SSD if you are trying to edit video directly off the drive, but it is more than enough for quickly transferring documents, backing up photos, or moving a few large files between computers.

SanDisk is offering the drive in three storage capacities: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The company says that the 256GB model can store roughly 60,000 photos, though that will depend heavily on your camera’s file sizes.

The drives work out of the box with Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS Monterey or newer. SanDisk also offers an optional app to help manage and back up files if you prefer not to drag and drop manually.

Pricing is standard for this category of storage. In the US, the 64GB model has a retail price of $24.99 but is currently selling for $19.99. The 128GB version costs $24.99, and the 256GB model is listed at $53.99 with a current price of $42.99.

In China, the pricing is set at 129.9 yuan for the 64GB version, 199 yuan for 128GB, and 349 yuan for 256GB. All three versions come with a three-year limited warranty.

Ahead of the July 22 official unveiling, reliable leaker Evan Blass dropped what look like official promo images for both models. Xiaomi has released a new Mijia Electric Shaver on its Youpin platform, bringing a few high-end grooming features down to a strictly budget price. The device carries a standard retail price of 249 yuan ($36), with an initial launch price of 199.75 yuan ($29).

The company says this layout improves shaving efficiency by about 48% compared to its previous model.

Internally, the device runs on a motor capable of 5 million cutting actions per minute. To manage that output, an onboard chip monitors the physical resistance against the blades approximately 100 times per second. When the shaver moves over a denser patch of a beard, it automatically ramps up the motor’s power and blade speed. This prevents the motor from bogging down, which is the primary cause of hair pulling in electric razors.

Xiaomi has also focused on skin irritation. The shaving heads are treated with a micro-bead coating to lower physical friction against the skin. Additionally, the foil is constructed from low-nickel stainless steel that complies with European nickel release standards, a useful detail for users who suffer from metal contact dermatitis. The entire head assembly sits on a 360-degree floating frame to keep the blades flush against angular areas like the jawline.

For power, the shaver relies on USB-C and takes about two hours to charge fully. Xiaomi advertises a 90-day battery life, though it is worth noting this metric is based on a very brief one-minute daily shave. DJI Osmo 360 II Prototype Leaks With Bigger Battery and NFC Support

DJI is already working on a follow-up to its first 360-degree camera, and a new leak from TheNewCamera gives us a look at an engineering prototype of the Osmo 360 II. The design stays close to the original as it has the same square body and a lens layout that hasn’t changed much.

The camera, listed under model number OQ002, has also shown up in FCC filings, which reveal a battery upgrade from 1,950mAh to 2,150mAh. That increase should give users more recording time before they need to recharge or swap batteries.

The Osmo 360 II is also said to bring NFC support. This would let users pair the camera with their phone and transfer files just by tapping the two devices together, something most panoramic cameras still don’t offer.

DJI launched the original Osmo 360 in July 2025 with a 1-inch square sensor, native 8K/50fps panoramic video, and panoramic photos up to 120MP, so the sequel builds on a camera that already covered the basics well. Notably, the first Osmo 360 also leaked through FCC filings months before DJI made it official, and that launch followed shortly after, so this pattern of early certification leaks lining up with a real release isn’t new for the company.

Beyond the FCC listing, real-world photos and field-test footage of the Osmo 360 II are now making the rounds too, which usually means development is further along than early testing.

DJI hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, but between the certification paperwork, the prototype sightings, and the leaked features, an official announcement looks like it shouldn’t be too far off.

Leaked Snapdragon 4 Gen 6 datasheet reveals Adreno 6 GPU and LPDDR5 memory support

If you’re into affordable smartphones, this one’s worth watching. Qualcomm is prepping the Snapdragon 4 Gen 6 (model SM4875) for devices expected next year, and a leaked internal document gives us a pretty clear early look at what it brings. The focus is on better graphics, faster memory, and improved efficiency.

The chip will be built on TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU setup looks familiar to the Gen 5: two performance cores based on Cortex-A78 (each with 256KB L2 cache) and six efficiency Cortex-A55 cores (64KB L2 each), all sharing a 1MB L3 cache. It’s not a radical redesign, but it should handle day-to-day tasks a little better while keeping battery drain in check.

The real highlight is the GPU upgrade. It’s moving from the older Adreno 4 series to the newer Adreno 6 series. Since the 4 Gen 5 already delivered a reported 77% graphics boost over its predecessor, this next jump could make a noticeable difference in gaming, smoother animations, and media playback on cheaper phones.

Memory support is also getting a nice bump: it now handles dual-channel LPDDR5 at 3200MHz, while still working with LPDDR4X for manufacturers who want more flexible (or cheaper) configurations. That extra bandwidth should help with multitasking and loading apps faster.

Qualcomm is keeping options open on the connectivity side as well. You’ll see either the WCN3998-2 (Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 5.2) or the more premium WCN6750 with Wi-Fi 6 support, depending on the phone maker’s choices. Security features include hardware-based ECC image certification, Widevine L1 for better streaming, and a new Trust Management Engine.

The whole thing comes in a slightly larger PSP917 package (11.1 x 12.0 mm), which probably gives room for these added capabilities.

For context, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 (which launched earlier this year) already brought decent GPU improvements and stronger 5G on the same 4nm node. The Gen 6 feels like a natural evolution: refining what worked and adding better memory and graphics muscle.

Of course, we’ll need official confirmation and real-world benchmarks before getting too excited, but the leak suggests Qualcomm isn’t slowing down in the budget chipset segment.

Moondrop has unveiled a new 3-inch active HiFi speaker called MM3A, built for desktop use. The speaker goes on sale July 22, priced at 699.9 yuan, or some $103, per pair for its launch window before rising to a regular price of 999.9 yuan (~ $147).

Connectivity on the MM3A includes USB, optical, 3.5mm AUX, and Bluetooth inputs, so it works with computers, phones, and other audio sources. Moondrop also built in support for parametric EQ, letting users fine-tune the sound through a companion app or a PC.

Inside, the speaker pairs a 3-inch aluminum cone driver for mids and bass with a silk dome tweeter for highs. Moondrop added two passive radiators mounted on opposite sides of the cabinet, using rear cavity pressure to push the low end further than the compact size would normally allow. A fully digital DSP crossover and a dynamic enhancement algorithm handle the audio processing, working together to keep bass output controlled and consistent.

The MM3A adds to Moondrop’s growing lineup of active speakers and audio gear. The brand recently brought DSP tuning to its KADENZ earphones, and its Space Travel 2 Ultra earbuds and Armature Art 24 IEMs show the same focus on custom acoustic tuning that now shows up in the MM3A’s desktop form factor.

With its curved cabinet, flexible connectivity, and app-based EQ control, the MM3A gives desktop listeners a compact speaker built around precise sound tuning rather than raw output.

The user interface also supports 25 languages, including localized options like Hindi and Bangla.

On the software side, the projector runs Android 14, enabling standalone streaming through apps such as Netflix, YouTube and, Prime Video without requiring an external streaming device.

For connectivity, the projector includes dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Physical ports are standard for this category, featuring an HDMI port, a USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting laptops, gaming consoles, or external storage.

Audio is provided by a built-in 20W speaker system, though the Bluetooth and audio jack allow users to easily route sound to external speakers or headphones.

Entire iPhone 17 lineup sees price hike in Japan

Redmi Note 17 India launch date and first sale date revealed

It’s been a week since Redmi made the Note 17 series official in China. We’re now waiting for its global launch, and fresh details may have revealed the timeline to us early. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared new information that hints at an early August debut for the phone in the Indian market.

According to the leak, the Redmi Note 17 will launch in India on August 6, 2026. The first sale is set to follow shortly after, on August 11, 2026.

The leak also confirms some key hardware details for the Indian variant. The phone will pack an 8000mAh battery, which should easily last a full day of heavy use and then some. It will feature an OLED display, so users can expect deep blacks and vibrant colors on screen.

On the camera front, the Redmi Note 17 will use a 50MP Light Fusion 400 sensor for the rear camera. This sensor is known for solid low-light performance, so photos should hold up well even in dim conditions. An 8MP front camera will handle selfie duties.

More details, including full specifications, pricing, and storage variants, are expected to be revealed closer to the launch date.

What we know so far

Oppo Find X10 lineup revised, Pro Max could be topmost model

Oppo’s next-generation Find X10 series could arrive with a noticeably different lineup than previously expected. A new leak suggests the company has revised its flagship strategy, bringing changes to the displays, chipsets, and overall model positioning. Oppo Find X10 series revised

According to the tipster, Oppo has reportedly revised the product lineup for the upcoming Find X10 series. The tipster claims that the Find X10 Pro Max is now expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels enabled by LIPO packaging technology.

To recall, this device was previously expected to feature a larger 6.89-inch display with a 2K resolution, but the latest leak suggests that both the display size and resolution have been reduced.

The Find X10 Pro Max is also tipped to be powered by the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and feature a Samsung HPC 200-megapixel large-sensor camera with high dynamic range imaging. It is expected to be joined by a 200-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The tipster further states that the standard Find X10 and Find X10 Pro will launch together. According to the leak, the Find X10 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display and the 3nm Dimensity 9600 Lite chipset. This chip is said to be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500.

The Find X10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K display powered by the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro. While it appears that the Pro Max may launch alongside these models, the leak does not explicitly state that all three devices will debut together.

In addition to the above-mentioned models, the latest leak also reveals that a smaller 6.59-inch variant equipped with another Dimensity 9-series chipset is under consideration, although its launch has not yet been finalized.

There is no clarity on whether the Oppo Find X10 Ultra has been canceled and replaced by the Find X10 Pro Max. It is advisable to wait for further reports for more clarity on the final Find X10 lineup. If the Ultra edition gets cancelled, the Pro Max could certainly be the topmost model in the lineup.

REDMI 17 4G EPREL listing confirms 7,500mAh battery, 45W charging

REDMI is once again going after budget buyers who just want a phone that lasts forever on a single charge. The upcoming REDMI 17 4G looks especially promising in that department.

According to official EU EPREL certification data, the phone can deliver an impressive 73 hours and 54 minutes on a full charge. That’s seriously long-lasting. It’s expected to pack a large 7,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. On top of that, it should retain over 80% battery health after 1,000 charging cycles and comes with an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.

Physically, the REDMI 17 4G is a fairly big phone, around 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm and weighing 232 grams. Renders show it coming in colors like Deep Blue, Black, Oak Green, and possibly Lotus Purple. It features a large 6.9-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate (1600 x 720 resolution).

Under the hood, it’s expected to use MediaTek’s Helio G91 Ultra chipset, run HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16, and offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. The cameras are pretty standard for this segment: a 50MP main rear sensor and an 8MP selfie camera.

This phone seems clearly aimed at people in emerging markets who need a reliable daily driver with excellent battery life rather than performance. The big battery, solid durability, and decent basics could make it a really strong value option.

As usual, we’ll have to wait for official pricing and full availability, but if it follows the brand’s tradition, it should be very competitively priced.

Overall, the REDMI 17 4G looks like another practical, long-lasting budget phone from Xiaomi. If battery endurance is your top priority, this one is definitely worth keeping an eye on as more details come out in the coming weeks.

As per the leak, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will be equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a flat design. It will offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

One of the major highlights of this phone is that it will pack a huge 10,000mAh single-cell battery with 80W charging. Despite having such a large battery inside, the handset is said to measure 8.47mm in thickness and weigh around 226 grams.
