The Vivo X23 was expected to launch on the 20th of August but it didn’t. Let’s just say the Jovi assistant is a bare-faced liar. Ahead of the release which is still pretty much unknown, Vivo has released two video ads for the device and a couple of promotional images.

Vivo X23 Phantom Violet

The video ads do nothing more than confirming the design of the phone. The first one shows the phone in Phantom Violet with a color gradient finish and dual rear cameras. Unfortunately, it only shows the back of the phone.

The second video shows the Vivo X23 in both Phantom Violet and Magic Night Blue. Apart from the rear design as revealed by the first video, this one shows the front and confirms it has a water-drop notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Vivo has also released new official renders of the phone that shows off the two colors the phone will come in. Vivo has named the color gradient appearance 3D Phantom Aurora. The phone can take on different colors depending on the angle light hits it.

The Vivo X23 will come with a Snapdragon 710, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will most definitely be other storage configurations available too. It will also have a 6.4-inch FHD+ display. There are also unconfirmed rumors of it having Vivo’s TOF 3D face scanning technology.
