While the company claims it to be a gaming smartphone, it’s likely that the phone will have a gaming-focused software features similar to the Honor Play instead of features on an actual gaming phone like ROG Phone.

Previous reports suggest that the phone will feature a 6-3inch IPS LCD display having a Full HD+ screen resolution. The device is expected to pack 4GB of RAM and will have two models based on the internal storage — 64GB and 128GB. We are also expecting another variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Under the hood, the phone will be running on an octa-core 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor under the hood, which offers an impressive improvement in graphics performance compared to the Snapdragon 636 chipset that powers the current model.

For photography, the phone is expected to feature a triple-camera setup on the back, where the primary camera sensor will be of 13-megapixel. As for the software, the phone will be running the latest Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box.
