The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ come in a variety of colors from white to blue to black to green and even pink. The Galaxy S10e even comes in a bright Canary Yellow. A new report says the S10 and S10+ will get a new Cardinal Red color variant.

The info was revealed by Roland Quandt on Twitter (@rquandt) along with press renders of the new color variant. Actually, this is not the first time we have heard of a red Galaxy S10. Back in February before the phone launched, there was a leaked render of a red Galaxy S10 called Cinnabar Red. Unfortunately, it wasn’t announced alongside the other color variants.

This color variant is quite different from the Burgundy Red of the Galaxy S9/S9+. It is significantly brighter but there is a chance it might appear a little different in real life.

Other than the red paint job, there should be no difference between this color variant and the others. However, there is a possibility availability might be limited to certain markets.

Announcing a new color variant of its flagships is now a tradition Samsung has adopted for a while now. It is a smart marketing move and a sort of way to reinvigorate interest in the phones.
