While Xiaomi’s mid-range phones are quite popular in India, its past flagship phones in the past were not received well in the country. The company took made another in the flagship market in India this year by announcing the Xiaomi Mi 10 in May. Currently, the smartphone is selling with a starting price of Rs 49,999 (~$682). Today, the Chinese manufacturer a dedicated virtual unveiling event in India to announce the Mi 10T series that were made official first in the international markets last month. While the Mi 10T series includes MI 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite, only the vanilla and Pro models have been made official in India.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G costs Rs 35,999 (~$490) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model and Rs 37,999 (~$517) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The company has announced the Mi 10T Pro in a single option of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage with a pricing of Rs 39,999 (~$545). The Mi 10 and Mi 10T Pro can be bought in colors like Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver.

People who are interested in the Mi 10T series can pre-order the Mi 10T or MI 10T Pro starting at 11:59 PM IST on Oct. 15 through Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home, Mi Stores, and Mi Studio. Buyers of the Mi 10T series will benefit from offers like up to Rs 3,000 cashback, up to Rs 2,000 extra price cut on an exchange, no-cost EMI plans for up to 12 months, and up to Rs 500 discount by using Flipkart Super coins on purchase.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro have 6.67-inch punch-hole IPS LCD panels that support up to 144Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR10, MEMC, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a full HD+ resolution. The front and rear sides of the Mi 10T and MI 10T Pro are flanked with Gorilla Glass 5 panels.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T duo are powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and 33W fast charging enabled 5,000mAh battery. They are loaded with MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS.

The triple camera system of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G has a 108-megapixel Samsung HMX main camera with OIS, f/1.69 aperture, and up to 30x digital zoom support, a 123-degree 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The vanilla model’s triple camera setup comprises of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary camera and it has the same ultrawide and macro cameras.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and MI 10T Pro lack features like a 3.5mm audio jack and external storage support. The other features that are available on both phones include dual SIM slot with 5G / 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band GPS, IR blaster, NFC, AI face unlock, a side-positioned fingerprint sensor, dual super linear speakers, and Hi-Res Audio support.

The Xiaomi MI 10T and Mi 10T Pro are good rivals for the OnePlus 8T that went official yesterday in India.
