In January this year, Meizu unveiled the Lipro Health Light series comprised of different kinds of smart lighting with prices ranging from 49 yuan to 999 yuan. Today, during the Meizu Smart Life Conference, the company equally unveiled the Lipro LED Smart Ceiling Light alongside the Meizu Watch smartwatch.
Meizu Lipro LED smart ceiling lights are available in a non-smart model having a diameter of 30cm and two smart models of 40cm and 50cm in diameter. The product is equipped with a Ra97 high color rendering light source which greatly reduces the blue peaks from the source, giving it a cool outlook.
The ceiling light has a thickness of just 2cm and is easy to install. The compact build ensures the light can be easily integrated with the ceiling. The design ensures the light rays are distributed evenly to the surroundings, making them more uniform and soft.
In addition, the ceiling lamp has a structure that repels flying insects. It is also easy to install. The smart version of the Lipro Ceiling Lamp can be paired with the Huawei HiLink app and Tmall Genie.
The Meizu Lipro Ceiling Lamp starts at 499 yuan (~$78) for the 30cm non-smart version. The 40cm smart version is priced at 799 yuan (~$125) while the 50cm smart ceiling light carries a price tag of 999 yuan (~$157). The product is expected to go on sale in China at 0:00 on June 1 but is up for reservation on Jingdong (JD.com). Meizu is yet to detail any launch itinerary for the global market.
In addition to the ceiling light, a number of other lighting products were also released under the Meizu smart home brand Lipro such as downlights, and switches.
