Although realme has unveiled realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12, the brand is yet to roll out the Android 11-based realme UI 2.0 to eligible devices. The latest smartphone to receive the last year’s Android update is the then-popular realme 3 Pro.
The realme 3 Pro was one of the hottest phones of its time. Unlike its biggest competitor (Redmi Note 7 Pro), it is eligible for two Android updates and has now finally started receiving the second one in the form of realme UI 2.0 (Android 11).
According to the official announcement post on realme Community, the new system update for realme 3 Pro arrives with firmware version RMX1851EX_11.F.05, In order to get this build, users should be on firmware version RMX1851EX_11.F.04.
The smartphone got access to realme UI 2.0 Early Access (beta) in July. So that means it took the brand three months to deliver the stable update.
As mentioned in the beginning, Android 11 is the second and the last major software update for realme 3 Pro. The device debuted with ColorOS 6.x based on Android 9.0 Pie and was updated to Android 10-based realme UI prior to the fresh update.
Having said that, the handset should continue receiving security updates for a while.
