Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series and the Galaxy S22 series together on February 8th, and ahead of the launch, bits and pieces about the devices are already popping up. The latest is the appearance of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S22+ on the NBTC certification website.
As seen above, the tablet with the model number SM-X906B and the phone with the model number SM-S906E have now been listed (via MySmartPrice). While the certification doesn’t reveal any of their specifications, it does point toward their imminent launch.
Still, previous leaks have already revealed a lot about the two devices and we have discussed this below.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is said to feature a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a WQXGA+ 2800×1752 resolution. Since the bezels around the display will be extremely slim, the front cameras are being accommodated in a notch cutout. Rumors suggest that both will be 12MP shooters and there will be a dual-camera setup at the rear as well, with 13MP main and 6MP ultrawide cameras.
The tablet will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that will be fed power from a beefy 11,200 mAh battery that will support 45W fast charging. You will also be getting the latest Android 12-based One UI 4.0 out of the box. The tablet will support S Pen.
Details of the Galaxy S22+ have been similarly leaked too. The flagship device will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and have a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back. The device’s India variant will come with an Exynos 2200 SoC.
