Earlier today (21st February 2022), Huawei announced that it will be hosting its Smart Office Spring Conference on February 27. During this event, it will be launching a number of new products, like smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. But prior to this event, the company has announced the new MateBook D 15 Ryzen Edition (2022). So let’s have a look.
The new MateBook D 15 Ryzen Edition from the Chinese tech giant sports a 15.6 inch display that has a 1080p (FHD) resolution and offers 100 percent sRGB color gamut. It measures 16.9mm in thickness and weighs just 1.6 kilograms. The new notebook is powered by a 56Whr battery pack and it also supports the company’s latest HyperTerminal function. Furthermore, the computer can run up to 3 mobile application windows as well, which helps users multi task.
In other words, it is quite practical for business professionals. As the name suggests, the latest MateBook D 15 is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor, the Ryzen 5 5500U. This chip features Team Red’s Zen2 architecture and offers 6 cores and 12 threads. It has a base clock sped of 2.1GHz and a boost clock speed of 4.0GHz, and is paired with the Vega7 for graphics. For memory, it houses 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. At the moment, the laptop is currently available for bookings, with pre-orders beginning on 27th February 2022 for a starting price of 4,599 Yuan (roughly 726 US Dollars).
