Chinese tech giant Realme has launched a new customized edition of the Realme 9 Pro+ in Thailand. The model is dubbed Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition and is themed after the popular game Garena Free Fire.
In terms of the design, the Free Fire edition of the Realme 9 Pro+ features a sleek design tailored to excite gaming enthusiasts. It also comes with a Free Fire-themed packaging box as well as several limited-edition stickers for fans of the battle royale game.
The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition retains the same design and hardware as the original 9 Pro+. To refresh our memories, the device packs a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution as well as support for a 90Hz refresh rate.
The 9 Pro+ Freefire Limited Edition packs a triple camera setup at the back comprising a 50-megapixels main camera teaming up with an 8-megapixels ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixels macro camera to assist with closed-up captures. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixels front-facing camera.
The gaming phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM while there is 256GB internal storage onboard. Under the hood, the Free Fire edition of the Realme 9 Pro+ crams a generous 4,500mAh battery and has support for 60W fast-charging.
On the software side, the device runs on Realme UI 3.0 based on Google’s latest Android 12 OS out of the box.
As for the price, the Realme 9 Pro+ Freefire Limited Edition is priced at 12,499 Baht (~$372) in Thailand. It is available in a sole 8GB+128GB memory configuration.
