iQOO is gearing up to launch a new affordable 5G smartphone in India. The device dubbed the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has already made an appearance on the BIS certification database with model number I2208.

Now, a new report has emerged revealing some key specifications of this upcoming device. According to the report, the smartphone will debut in India in the month of September. It will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4-series chipset under the hood. This could be the Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset which is usually seen in entry-level 5G smartphones.

Earlier reports have stated that the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G will be a tweaked version of the Vivo T1x. If this turns out to be true, then the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G will most likely offer an IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The device could come with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage. As for optics, we can expect a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it could feature an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

Other specs will likely include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
