Last month, Motorola confirmed that it would be launching new Edge-series phones in the global market and India on Sept. 8. The day has arrived and there has been no announcement on the expected Edge 30 series so far at the time of writing this post. Yesterday, tipster Mukul Sharma claimed that the Edge 30 Ultra would be debuting in India on Sept. 13. A new tweet from the tipster reveals that the Edge 30 Fusion will also debut on the same date.

According to Sharma, the Edge 30 Fusion, featuring a borderless 144Hz P-OLED display and a Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, will launch on Sept. 13 along with the Edge 30 Ultra. Since it will be a “flagship killer” device, it is likely to be stacked against affordable flagships priced under Rs 40,000 (~$502) in the Indian market.
