Honor Pad 8 has launched in India today. The company has made a re-entry in the country’s tablet market after many years with the latest offering. The device has already debuted in the global markets and the Indian variant comes with the same specifications. Read on to know what it offers out of the box.

Beginning with the display, the Honor Pad 8 sports a 12-inch screen bearing a 2K resolution and 350 nits brightness. It offers an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio and the screen is TUV Rheinland low blue light certified. The tablet features a metal unibody. 

On the audio front, the Honor Pad 8 is equipped with an 8 speaker system tuned by DTS:X Ultrasound and the brand’s self-developed Histen audio algorithm. The Honor Pad 8 has a pill-shaped camera module on the back. It houses a 5MP sensor without an LED flash. There is also a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Honor Pad 8 houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor based on a 6nm process. The SoC is paired with Adreno 610 GPU onboard. The device packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Software-wise, the tablet runs on Android 12-based MagicUI 6.1 with features like smart multi-window and multi-screen collaboration. 

The Honor Pad 8 is powered by a 7,250mAh battery unit with support for 22.5W fast charging. Connectivity options on the device include a USB-C port, Bluetooth, and WiFi. 

The Honor Pad 8 starts at an introductory price tag of Rs 19,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB model whereas the 6GB + 128GB option costs Rs 21,999. The tablet is offered in a single Blue colour and will be available for purchase from Flipkart starting September 23rd.
