Earlier this year, POCO debuted the POCO C40 smartphone in the global market. The brand skipped launching this device in the Indian market. Now, the POCO C50 has been spotted on Google Play Supported Devices List with an Indian model number.

According to the listing, the POCO C50 has the model number 220733SPI and is codenamed snow. This is the model which will come to India. Interestingly, the codename suggests that this device will be a rebrand of the Redmi A1+ which launched a few days ago in India. The Redmi A1+ has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a peak brightness of 400nits. The back of the device features a leather texture design which we have seen on the POCO C40 as well.

The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor with an IMG PowerVR GPU. The device comes pre-installed with Android 12 Go Edition.

The Redmi A1+ has a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. It has an 8MP back camera as well as a depth sensor. It sports a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back. In addition, the Redmi A1+ has a dedicated micro-SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio port.
