The Chinese tech giant’s Note 12 5G is the vanilla variant of the latest Note 12 lineup and is also the most affordable amongst the three. On the front, the device sports a 6.67 inch Samsung AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the handset is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC that is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. The Note 12 5G also runs on Android 12 OS based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

On the rear, the Redmi Note 12 5G features a triple camera setup unlike the dual camera variant on the Chinese model. This rear module consists of a 48 megapixel primary sensor, a 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and another 2 megapixel shooter. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IP53 rating, an IR blaster, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a slim 7.9mm thickness, and a hybrid SIM card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card.
