OnePlus just held its Cloud 11 event in which it announced a number of its highly anticipated products like the OnePlus 11. But during this same event, the company also revealed its plans for other exciting upcoming devices. So let’s have a look.

While the flagship smartphone was undoubtedly the highlight of the major conference, the Chinese handset maker also revealed the launch timeline for a new breed of mobile devices. The company has officially confirmed that it is working on a new foldable smartphone and it will be launching sometime later this year. Devices with foldable displays aren’t exactly a new thing, but it is still mostly offered by major OEMs like Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung, and others.

But it appears that OnePlus is also planning on releasing its own iteration this year, around the third quarter. In other words, we can expect the brand to officially announce the device sometime between the months of July to September. Unfortunately, the company only teased the device’s launch so far and has refrained from talking more about this foldable phone. So, finer details regarding this upcoming high end smartphone is still at large.

Based on previous reports, the foldable phone model in question could simply be called the OnePlus Fold. Furthermore, initial reports had hinted at the device also being a rebranded Oppo Find N. Although, it now appears that the company is actually developing this device from the ground up, but we can expect Oppo’s foldable phones to have some influence on this smartphone.
