    Design

    Even though it is the most affordable phone of the trio, the best front design belongs to the OPPO A76 for a simple reason: it has a punch-hole display instead of an ugly waterdrop notch. But if we consider the rear side, then the OPPO A78 5G is definitely more beautiful with its circular camera module and a reflective vertical stripe. Further, the OPPO A78 5G has the IP54 certification which indicates that the phone is dust resistant and splash resistant: an important added value for those who want to use their phone under certain conditions. Last but not least, its front glass is protected by Panda Glass, not as tough as Gorilla Glass by Corning, but better than nothing.

    The OPPO A78 5G, the OPPO A77 5G, and the OPPO A76 are equipped with exactly the same display. The only difference is the fact that the A76 comes with a punch hole in the upper left corner instead of a waterdrop notch placed on the central part. We are talking about an IPS LCD display with a diagonal of 6.56 inches showing images with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The screen has a maximum brightness of 600 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It is a pretty disappointing display if we consider that its resolution is 720p: it does not provide a high level of detail. But the presence of a 90 Hz refresh rate makes the images smoother. The fingerprint scanners of these phones are side-mounted, on the power key. The OPPO A78 5G and the OPPO A77 5G feature stereo speakers, while the OPPO A76 has a mono speaker.
