According to recent reports, the Redmi Note 12S is rumored to be a variant of the Note 11S from last year, albeit with some modifications. It is expected to offer faster charging capabilities, but may not include a depth sensor.
Speculations suggest that the Redmi Note 12S could boast a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may be powered by the Helio G96 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device could potentially run on the latest Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 as the user interface. The device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi Note 12S is rumored to sport a quad-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it may house a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
