Last week Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 Turbo which boasts an impressive Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip and a variety of high-end features. The phone quickly became the first-day sales champion in the 2K-3K ($300-$400) yuan price range across all brands on three major e-commerce platforms, breaking the industry’s all-day sales record in just five minutes after it went on sale.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes in four storage options: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB/512GB, and 16GB+1TB with UFS 3.1. After the launch, the 16GB+1TB variant was sold out in seconds. The 1TB variant will go on sale again on April 6th at 10:00 AM in China.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports DCI-P3 color gamut, 1000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is powered by the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 4nm processor, clocked at up to 2.91GHz. The Adreno 725 580MHz GPU ensures smooth and lag-free graphics performance.

The device runs on the latest Android 13 with MIUI 14, offering a smooth and user-friendly experience. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor for added convenience.

In terms of camera, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo features a triple-camera setup at the rear, including a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The device also features a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to debut as Poco F5 in the global market.
