One of the biggest Apple manufacturing partner based in China, Foxconn rumored to have plans to build a factory in Indonesia. A number of new funds will be launched when a manufacturer from China is right to build facilities in the country.

According to Venture Beat, citing Game Industry, Foxconn will go smoothly when poured funds to $ 1 billion to build the plant and its facilities. This plant will certainly create new jobs in Indonesia. Reportedly, the plans of Foxconn will hold discussions with Minister of Trade Indonesia Gita Wirjawan.

“We hope to build a new factory in Indonesia, although there has not been finalized in the near future,” wrote the Foxconn representative said in a statement.

“This will help us in making good quality products and make products on the market at lower prices. Indonesia will also have better job opportunities,” it said.

Why Indonesia?
In a released statement, Foxconn said the interest in building a factory to Indonesia rather than Malaysia or Vietnam due to economic growth in the country is high, which they climbed to 6%.

In addition, Foxconn assess Indonesia desperately need formal employment, which is able to provide extensive field work with the standard salary.
