Meizu recently held its Autumn Unbounded Ecological Conference event, where it unveiled a slew of new products, including its flagship Meizu 21 smartphone, the Meizu DreamCar, and a new brand called MYVU.
Under the MYVU brand, Meizu introduced two new products: the MYVU Discovery AR smart glasses and the MYVU Smart Ring. The smart ring is designed to complement the MYVU Discovery AR glasses, providing intuitive gesture control for a seamless AR experience.
The smart ring features a ceramic coating on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. It is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and even accidental submersion. Available in four sizes ranging from 17 to 22mm, the MYVU Ring can comfortably fit a wide range of finger sizes.
As an extension of the MYVU Discovery AR glasses, the MYVU Ring offers intuitive gesture control, allowing users to seamlessly interact with their AR experience. With simple finger movements, users can control music playback, navigate videos, respond to messages, and perform other tasks, all without removing their glasses.
The MYVU Discovery AR glasses themselves offer a versatile range of interaction methods, including touch interaction, application interaction, and Aicy voice interaction. This approach to interaction ensures that users can control their AR experience in the most natural and convenient way possible.
The smart ring is available for CNY 399 in China and is available to order from the company’s official site.
