Recently, iQOO launched the Neo 9S Pro smartphone in China. It joins the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro that debuted in the country in December last year.
The newly launched model is not significant different compared to the Neo 9 Pro. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro has a slightly enhanced processor while the rest of the core specifications remain the same.
Notably, iQOO has also kept the price unchanged on the latest offering.
iQOO Neo 9S Pro vs iQOO Neo 9 Pro
As mentioned above, the only difference between the iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9 is in the processor department. The former also comes in a new color option giving an additional choice for customers.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9 Pro have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It offers 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz LTPO display, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support.
Design-wise, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro duo features a flat frame with two camera rings on the back panel. Alongside the Black and Red-White (dual-tone) colour options, the Neo 9S Pro is also offered in a new Star White shade (instead of Blue on Neo 9 Pro) that utilizes the satin AG glass technology.
2. Hardware
Coming to the main aspect, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro is equipped with a recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. It is compatible with large language models like Gemini Nano and Meta Llama 3 for powering on-device AI features.
Compared to the Dimensity 9300, the Plus chipset has improved CPU and APU while the GPU remains the same. The iQOO Neo 9S Pro is offered in up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage configurations.
The iQOO Neo 9S Pro has a 6K VC liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. It draws its power from a 5,160mAh battery unit with support for 120W wired charging. There is also a dedicated Q1 e-sports chip for an enhanced viewing and gaming experience.
3. Camera and software
The iQOO Neo 9S Pro retains the same dual cameras as the Neo 9 Pro. The setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
There is a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper. Software-wise, the smartphone ships with OriginOS 4-based on Android 14 OS out of the box.
4. Pricing
The iQOO Neo 9S Pro has the same price tags as the iQOO Neo 9 Pro for all memory configurations. It starts at CNY 2,999 (~$419) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant whereas the 12GB + 512GB costs CNY 3,299 (~$461). The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations are priced at CNY 3,599 (~$503) and CNY 3,999 (~$559) respectively.
All aforementioned variants of the iQOO Neo 9s Pro are available with CNY 300 discount for a limited period. This makes it more attractive than the iQOO Neo 9 Pro.
