The Huawei Watch GT 4, which was unveiled globally back in September 2023 has finally made it to India. The brand has only launched the 46mm variant in the Indian market. Here are all the details.
The Watch GT 4 features a circular display with an octagonal stainless steel casing. The Watch has two buttons on the side, one of which is a rotating crown that also acts as the home button. The smartwatch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 × 466 pixels resolution and 326 PPI pixel density.
It has 32MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and uses dual-band GNSS for accurate location tracking. It has a claimed battery life of 8 days with regular use, and with AOD turned on, it can last up to 4 days on a single charge. The watch is 5 ATM waterproof and can withstand swims and dives up to 50 meters deep. As for software, the device runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 and is compatible with both iOS (iOS 13.0 or later) & Android (Android 8.0 or later).

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 comes equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling Bluetooth calls directly from the watch. It offers a wide variety of watch faces, including dynamic options like the Blooming face, and even allows users to create their own custom designs.
For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch offers over 100 workout modes and features precise route tracking. It also has daily activity tracking and Activity Rings 2.0, which tracks three types of data (three rings): Move, Exercise, and Stand. The watch also comes with the new Stay Fit app, powered by HUAWEI’s TruSeen 5.5+ technology, which provides health monitoring by analyzing heart rate and detecting potential arrhythmia risks.
Additionally, the watch has SpO2 measurement (blood oxygen), sleep tracking with HUAWEI TruSleep 3.0, women’s health tracking, and stress monitoring.
3. Pricing, availability & alternatives:
The HUAWEI Watch GT 4 will be available in Green and Black color options, priced at Rs. 14,999. It will go on sale from noon on August 16th exclusively on Flipkart. The first 100 customers can avail a discount of Rs. 500 on their purchase.
At this price, the Watch GT 4 smartwatch undercuts the likes of the OnePlus Watch 2R (Rs. 17,999), and the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm (Rs. 21,999), both of which use Google’s WearOS. Some cheaper alternatives include the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Bluetooth/LTE (Rs 8,999/10,499) and Fossil Gen 6.
