To recall, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro featured the Dimensity 9300 chipset, whereas the X100 Ultra came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The company may likely apply the same strategy to the Ultra model. This has become more evident as the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that it will launch a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone in the future. Most likely, the forthcoming Vivo X200 Ultra may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

As the Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to launch next year, the rumor mill has been gradually leaking details about it. A recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the X200 Ultra will be arrive with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. It is also speculated to arrive with support for satellite communication.

Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the Vivo X200 Ultra. The device is expected to rival the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in the Chinese market. It is likely that the X200 Ultra could be priced at around 5,500 Yuan (~$770) in China.

While the X100 and X100 Pro were released globally, the X100 Ultra remained confined to the Chinese market. Therefore, there is no clarity about whether the X200 Ultra will be released in the global market.
