Xiaomi took the wraps off its latest flagships, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, earlier this week. These are the world’s first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. And you finally have a chance to grab one in China, as the 15 duo are going on sale starting today.

Xiaomi 15: A spectrum of choices

The Xiaomi 15 offers a wider color palette compared to its Pro counterpart. Its standard colors include Lilac Purple, Light Grass Green, Black, and White, plus a premium Bright Silver Edition.

The pricing starts at 4,499 yuan ($630) for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model and climbs to 5,499 yuan ($770) for the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option. The Bright Silver Edition carries a slight premium of 200 yuan ($28) compared to the standard color options.

For those seeking a touch of exclusivity, Xiaomi is offering a custom edition of the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant in a staggering 20 different colors. It’s priced at 4,999 yuan ($700) and is available only through the Xiaomi Mall online store. 

Additionally, you can also grab a Diamond Limited Edition Xiaomi 15 with a luxurious diamond-encrusted back panel for a hefty 5,999 yuan ($840).

Xiaomi 15 Pro: More Streamlined Color Choices

The Xiaomi 15 Pro takes a more subdued approach with its color scheme. Customers can choose from Spruce Green, Rock Grey, and White. The Bright Silver Edition is again available for a slight price increase.

In terms of pricing, the Pro model starts at 5,299 yuan ($742) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant goes for 5,799 yuan ($812), while the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option climbs to 6,499 yuan ($910). As with the standard model, the Bright Silver Edition carries a 200 yuan ($28) premium.
