1. Taller & Brighter Display

The iPhone 16 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro Mini are both compact flagship phones. Even the base model of the Xiaomi 15 series is a small premium phone. However, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has a taller display, which is perfect for those who need more screen real estate and often consume media content on their smartphones.

Unlike the 6.1-inch Super Retina OLED panel on the iPhone 16 Pro, the Xiaomi 15 Pro sports a tall 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. That’s not all, the iPhone 16 Pro has a peak brightness of 2000 nits, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro features 3200 nits of max brightness.

2. Accessible and Comparable Performance

The iPhone 16 Pro is one of the fastest smartphones in the market, and the Xiaomi 15 Pro is a notable competitor. The A18 Bionic is a powerful yet energy efficient processor, while the Xiaomi flagship is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. From synthetic benchmark performance to battery efficiency, this chip goes toe to toe with the A18 Bionic.

Despite this even footing, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has a starting price tag of just 742 US Dollars (5,299 Yuan in China) for the base 12GB + 256GB storage configuration. This makes it over 250 US Dollars more affordable than the 999 US Dollar iPhone 16 Pro, which only offers 128GB for its starting variant.

So when you take the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s entire specs sheet into account, you get an impressive package. You get three cameras on the back with Leica lenses, an IR blaster, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and much more, which gives it an edge over the iPhone 16 Pro.

3. Bigger Battery and Faster Charging

New Apple iPhones have impressive battery life that can easily be compared to Android flagships. But the newer Android devices are no slouch either. But unfortunately, the iPhone 16 Pro only maxes out at around 45W wired fast charging rate, along with 25W wireless fast charging.

This is still better than older models, but the Xiaomi 15 Pro simply outclasses the iPhone. The Xiaomi 15 Pro supports 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The Chinese tech giant’s premium phone houses a massive 6,100mAh battery pack, which is much larger than the battery on the iPhone 16 Pro.
